1st Day: The meeting of representatives of the Italian school and two Turkish schools began with an official welcome by the mayor at the municipal office. The mayor presented the main information about the commune's activities, including education policy and environmental protection, and answered the guests' questions. Then, students and teachers from Italy and Turkey met at school with local students, teachers and employees, and showed presentations of their schools and regions. Then they took part in an art lesson in which they created autumn landscapes using ecological materials. The participants also learned basic phrases in Polish during the Polish language lesson.
2nd Day: The students presented their traditional board games Grody, Mancala and Ludus Latrunculorum, their history and rules of the game. Then they started training in mixed groups. That day, there was also a picnic at an agritourism farm, where participants could actively spend several hours riding horses, going on a trip to the forest, having integration and sports games, and tasting typical traditional dishes. The stay on the farm was intended to show the advantages of active recreation outdoors, surrounded by nature.
3rd Day: Participants visited the interactive EC1 Science and Technology Center in Łódź, where they saw the following exhibitions: “Power conversion” – electricity production technologies still used; "Development of knowledge and civilization" - the principles of nature, the laws of science, the inventions related to them - all this allowed us to build the civilization in which we live;"Microworld - macroworld" - the greatest secrets of the universe - from observing butterfly wings through an electron microscope to capturing the furthest depths of space. Students also spent a few hours having fun and integrating in an amusement park Mandoria - an indoor complex modeled on a 16th-century trading city.
4th Day: The participants visited the Municipal Solid Waste Treatment and Neutralization Plant "Orli Staw" where they could participate in workshops on ecology. Students and teachers were introduced to topics related to waste management, visited our municipal installation and learned about recycling. During the tour, they learned that waste is valuable raw materials from which new products can be obtained. They learned what products are made from waste at the center, as well as how the plant is energy self-sufficient. They could see with their own eyes how a waste management plant operates. On the same day, participants planted a mixture of grass seeds and melliferous flowers in the students’ gardends.
5th Day: A tournament of board games Grody, Mancala and Ludus Latrunculorum took place among the participants. After certificate ceremony students spent free time with their host families while the teachers took part in a farewell dinner together with parents, authorities and guests.
